Tecnis® Multifocal IOL

The advanced Tecnis® Multifocal is an implantable lens that significantly improves vision after cataract surgery and corrects presbyopia.  It is designed to help you regain younger vision and be free of glasses, the Tecnis® lens can provide you with high-quality vision at all distances and in all lighting conditions-even in dim light.

ReStor™ IOL

The AcrySof IQ ReSTOR® IOL is a unique technological innovation that can provide you with enhanced image quality and a full range of vision - near, far and everywhere in between - for increased independence from reading glasses or bifocals.

As we perform activities such as watching television, reading, or working at the computer, our eyes are constantly focusing on objects at varying distances.  The ability to quickly change focus throughout our range of vision is called accommodation.  We begin to lose this ability as we grow older, gradually becoming more and more dependent on bifocals or reading glasses.

The AcrySof IQ ReSTOR® IOL is divided into two main areas, a refractive outer ring that focuses light for distance vision, and a series of apodized diffractive rings in the center of the lens that focus light for near and intermediate vision.  Together, these areas provide you with the multiple focal points, for excellent vision at all distances.

The ReZoom® Multifocal Lens Technology

Balanced View Optics ™ Technology literally provides multiple focal points so you can see well at a variety of distances. The Rezoom Multifocal lens has five uniquely proportioned visual zones designed to provide clear vision for different light and focal distances.

The Rezoom lens is providing patients with a full range of vision and greater independence from glasses or contact lenses. Clinical studies show 92% of those receiving the ReZoom lens technology "never" or "only occasionally", need to wear glasses. Although you might prefer to use glasses for prolonged reading, to read small type, or to drive at night, most people report they can go to the store and conduct most of their daily activities without depending on glasses. The full benefit of having the ReZoom Multifocal IOL lens implant will be even more noticeable when both eyes have been treated.

About Crystalens® AO

Crystalens® AO is an accommodating intraocular lens that, unlike a standard IOL, can treat both a person’s cataracts and presbyopia- loss of near and intermediate vision. This accommodating aspheric IOL is designed to deliver premium vision at all distances, and because the Crystalens® AO is aberration free, patients can potentially enjoy their best vision quality with enhanced contrast sensitivity.  It does so by recreating accommodation similar to your eye’s natural lens.  Like the natural lens, it uses the eye muscle to flex and accommodate in order to focus on objects in the environment at all distances. Crystalens® AO dynamically adjusts to your visual needs.
