Clearview IOL

The Lenstec ClearView 3 Multifocal IOL represents a significant advancement in presbyopic lens technology, offering patients superior vision across all distances. This innovative asymmetric segmented multifocal IOL is meticulously designed to enhance contrast sensitivity while minimizing common visual disturbances such as halos and glare.

What sets the ClearView 3 apart is its exceptional manufacturing precision, with power increments available in smaller steps. The ClearView 3 features a unique seamless transition zone, ensuring smooth visual progression from near to distance vision.

This lens can also provide excellent near, intermediate, and distance vision with minimal visual side effects. Many patients have reported high satisfaction rates and improved visual freedom after cataract surgery.

By addressing the full spectrum of visual needs with reduced compromises, the ClearView 3 Multifocal IOL stands as a premium choice for those seeking to restore vision and reduce dependence on corrective visual aids after cataract surgery.

Odyssey IOL

The TECNIS Odyssey™ IOL, Johnson & Johnson’s is a cutting-edge lens that can deliver a full range of continuous vision while providing greater contrast sensitivity and low-light performance. What sets the Odyssey multifocal IOL apart is its excellent range of vision, offering clarity for both near and distance tasks.

Patients who choose this lens may experience fewer visual disturbances such as halos and glare compared to other multifocal options. The Odyssey’s advanced design incorporates a unique diffractive pattern on the front surface of the lens.

This innovative feature is carefully configured to minimize visual confusion when focusing at different distances, allowing for seamless transitions from near to far vision. One of the standout features of the Odyssey IOL is its ability to reduce chromatic aberration.

This is a common issue where different colors fail to focus at the same point, causing visual distortions. By minimizing this effect, the Odyssey lens helps patients experience more natural vision.

This improvement in visual quality can make a significant difference in daily activities, from reading to driving at night.

Toric™ IOL

Tecnis® Multifocal IOL Example

The advanced Tecnis® Multifocal is an implantable lens that significantly improves vision after cataract surgery and corrects presbyopia. It is designed to help regain younger vision and help patients become free of glasses.

The Tecnis® lens can provide high-quality vision at all distances. Many patients with the Tecnis® multifocal lens experience the best eyesight they have had in years. In fact, nearly 9 out of 10 people do not require glasses after receiving Tecnis® multifocal implantable lenses.

ReStor™ IOL

ReStor™ IOL Example

The AcrySof IQ ReSTOR® IOL is a unique technological innovation that can provide enhanced image quality and decreasing dependence on glasses and bifocals. Activities such as watching television, reading, or working at the computer constantly change the focusing power needed to see.

The ability to quickly change focus throughout our range of vision is called accommodation. We begin to lose this ability as we grow older, gradually becoming more and more dependent on bifocals or reading glasses.

The AcrySof IQ ReSTOR IOL is divided into two main areas. The first area is a refractive outer ring that focuses light for distance vision, and the second area is a series of apodized diffractive rings in the center of the lens that focus light for near and intermediate vision. Together, these areas provide multiple focal points, for excellent vision at all distances.

Toric IOL

Toric IOL Example

Toric IOL technology uses biocompatible materials that have been successfully used in contact lenses and proven safe for the eye.

The Toric lens corrects varying degrees of astigmatism at the time of cataract surgery. While the Toric lens will help correct distance vision it does not correct Presbyopia. Therefore most patients still require reading glasses to be able to comfortably perform near and intermediate vision tasks.

Correcting A Full Range Of Vision / Multifocal PanOptix IOL

Traditionally, single vision lenses provide only one focal point (typically distance) leaving patients dependent upon reading glasses or bifocals after cataract surgery. Multifocal lens implants, such as the PanOptix IOL lens, are designed to improve vision at distance, intermediate and near range with reduced dependency on glasses. This advancement in lens technology allows patients to regain an extended range of vision like no other lens can. In one study 99.2% of patients said they would elect the same lens if offered.
